Today Traffic Police launch the Road Safety Outreach and Road Courtesy Campaign 2010 at Singapore Expo hall 5. SCTF was invited to the launch as a partner in Traffic Police’s road safety educations..

Guest of honour, Assoc Prof Ho Peng Kee, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Home Affairs mentioned in his opening speech that cyclists safety on the roads is part of their concern in the campaign, he urged the motorists to be mindful of cyclists on the roads and give them more space, cyclists to ride with proper attire and observe traffic rules and lane behaviour. He also mentioned that Safe Cycling Clinics conducted jointly by Traffic Police and Safe Cycling Taskforce plays a part in educating cyclists to ride safe.
