do not yet wear a helmet when you are out cycling, it's time to start... DriversMaintain a safety distance. Did you
know that your vechicle should maintain a safety distance of at least
1 metre from stationary vehicles and pedastrians, and 1.5 metre if they
are moving?... PedestriansEnsure you are visible. We often forget
this, but visibility is greatly reduced when you're moving quickly. Instead
of just assuming drivers and cyclists can see you at pedastrian crossings,
make sure you're seen before you step onto the road... |
